Manual Therapy

1. Manual Therapy: Specific techniques aimed at decreasing pain by restoring normal joint function.

2. Myofascial Trigger Point Therapy: Used to inactivate muscular trigger points in order to decrease pain, and improve muscle function.

  • Intramuscular Manual Therapy (Dry Needling): Involves the use of a small filament needle to assist in the deactivation of the myofascial trigger point.

3. Deep Laser Tissue Therapy: A non surgical option for the treatment of pain. The LCT-1000 works by flooding the tissues with photons, energizing the damaged cells and increasing circulation to the painful area. This produces a cascade of healing responses in the body which assist with the elimination of pain.

4. Meridian Therapy/ETPS: According to Eastern Medicine, disease occurs when there is a distruption in the body's energy flow along a meridian channel. Meridian therapy/ETPS involves the stimulation of various relevant acupoints along a meridian channel, with the use of low intensity direct current.  Stimulation of these points causes the release of the body's natural pain relievers and helps restore proper energy flow throughtout the body.
