Physical Therapists

The physical therapists at AppliedOrtho® Physical Therapy are highly trained in their ability to evaluate and treat neuromuscular and musculoskeletal conditions. In addition, therapists are quite skilled in arriving at an accurate physical therapy diagnosis and developing an appropriate treatment plan based on relevant clinical findings.

Patient care is first and foremost at AppliedOrtho® Physical Therapy. All treatments are one-on-one with a highly trained physical therapist. Appointments are never double booked to help ensure that each client is given adequate time for the proper treatment of his or her condition.

All therapists have received extensive training in the field of manual therapy and continue to receive ongoing training to allow for the most comprehensive, highly skilled physical therapy care.

John M. Kitchen, PT, MPT, OCS, CMTPT

• Owner and physical therapist.
• Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS). This designation carries with it the recognition by the American Physical Therapy Association as being an expert in the field of orthopedic physical therapy.
• Certified Myofascial Trigger Point Therapist, with emphasis in dry needling.
• Advanced training in Manual and Manipulative therapy of the spine and extremities.
• Over 10 years of extensive experience treating a wide range of post-operative conditions performed by many of the region's top orthopedic surgeons.
• Member of The American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy.
• Member of The American Physical Therapy Association.
